Pickup Your Code Signing Certificate Once approved and payment is received, you will receive an issuance email containing your VeriSign® Code Signing Certificate as a PKCS#7 text file. You can copy the certificate from the email and import it into the certificate keystore

Receive USB Hardware Token
Once approved, you will receive an email with instructions for picking up your Publisher ID. Save this email for future reference. A USB hardware token will be
sent to your mailing address within 2-4 days business days of approval. If your USB token is lost or stolen, it may be compromised and cannot be replaced.
Pick up Publisher ID
Follow instructions provided to install your USB token. Go to the Web site provided to pick up and install your Publisher ID. You must pick up your Publisher ID from the same computer, browser, and logged in with the same profile used to enrol.
Sign Your .cab Files
You are now ready to begin signing code and content. Sign your files with your Publisher ID and then upload them to your Code Signing Portal for resigning. Publisher IDs are valid for one year and may be renewed. You can purchase additional signing events from your Code Signing Portal at any time.
To have your application signed for Microsoft® Windows® Mobile Privileged Access:
1. Submit your application to a Microsoft-approved test house.
2. Upload a completed Request Form with your application to your Code Signing Portal account.

First Time Buyers: Download the PTA and ActiveX Control
First time buyers need to install the VeriSign Personal Trust Agent (PTA) and Active X control.
NOTE: Vista has strict rules for enabling the PTA (see: Code Signing Support ). The download begins automatically
on the third step of the enrolment process. In the Security Warning window, click Yes to install the PTA and Active X control.
Once installed, a PTA Wizard Create New Profile window opens. Follow the steps to create your profile by clicking Next or Accept.
Enter Required Information

- Authentic Document ID information: The organisation name that will appear in the digital signature.
- Create a New Profile: The VeriSign Personal Trust Agent Wizard will open a pop-up window. Click Next. Enter a user name and password, click Create.

Pickup Your Code Signing Certificate
VeriSign will validate the information received. Once your application is approved and payment is received, you will receive an email containing your
